Materials
2 x 50g Balls Rainbow Baroque
4mm knitting needles
3.50 crochet hook
Gauge 10sts and 18 rows = 10cm/4" on 7mm needles
Abbreviations
K - Knit
St - Stitch
Dec - Decrease
Inc - Increase
Beg - Beginning
Dc - Double Crochet
Note : Numbers in () at end of row depicts number of stitches you should have for that row.

PATTERN

Row 1 : Cast on 1 st
Row 2 : (right side ) inc 1 st at beg of row, k to end (2 sts)
Row 3 : K to last st, inc 1 st
Repeat the last 2 rows until there are 15 sts on needle
K 184 rows straight
Button Hole Row : K 6, cast on 3 sts , k 6
Next : (right side) inc 1 st on the next 6 rows (21sts)
Next : (right side) dec 1 st on every alternative row until 1 st remains.
Fasten off.

Crochet Spikes:
Insert hook into knitting and pick up and double crochet 9 stitches forming a circle, and crochet in the round for 3 inches, fasten off and weave in ends.
