6 x 50g balls Tape (Black)
1 pair 6mm needles
1 4.25mm crochet hook
Gauge 8sts and 24 rows = 10cm/4" on 6mm needles

PATTERN

**Front
With 6mm needles and tape Cast on 66sts
Knit 3 rows
Row 1: K1, *YO K2 tog* repeat from * to * to last st K1.
Row 2: Knit
These 2 rows form pattern.
Repeat these 2 rows until work measures 4"ending with a WS row.
Next row continuing with pattern Dec 1 st at each end of next row.(64sts)
Cont working straight in pattern until work measures 6" from beg ending with a WS row
Dec 1 st at each end of nxt row (62sts)
Cont in pattern until work measure from beg 8"
Dec 1 st at each end of nxt row (60sts)
Cont in pattern until work measures 15" from the beg ending with a WS row.
Proceed in st -st Inc 1st at each end of nxt row (62sts)
Cont in st st until work measures 4" from the start of st-st ending with a WS row.
Inc 1 st at each end of nxt row (64sts)
Cont in st-st for another inch.

Shape Armholes
Cast off 4 sts at beg of nxt 2 rows (56sts)
Then Dec 1 st at each end of nxt and the nxt alt row(52sts)**
Shape Neck
K11, Make 1, place marker K9, BO centre 14 sts, K9, place marker, Make 1, K11.
Working on left side only

At the same time inc one st on outer side of marker on each RS row and BO 3 sts at beg of next 2 RS rows, 2 sts at beg of nxt 3 RS rows (14sts).
BO 2 sts on next RS row without increasing a stitch at marker.
Work even until armhole edge measures 9" ending with RS row.

BO 4 sts at beg of nxt 3RS rows.

Rejoin yarn at centre and start on a WS row
Shape right side of neck as for left but reverse the shaping.

Back
Work as for front from ** to **
Continue in st-st until armhole measures 9" ending with a WS row
BO 4 sts at beg of nxt 6 rows
Cast off.

Sleeves (both alike)
Cast on 60 sts
K 3 rows
Working in pattern ( row 1: k1,* yo k2 tog* repeat from * to * to last st k1, row 2 : k )proceed as follows
Shape sleeve top
Work 8 rows dec 1 st at each end of every row (44 sts)
Cast off 2 sts st beg of next 2 rows.
Cast off 3sts at beg of next 10 rows
Cast off remaining sts.

To Make Up.
With RS facing join front shoulders to back shoulders.
Sew side seams.
Turn the garment the right way round
With a Size 4.25mm crochet hook chain around neckline and sleeves.
