1 pair 4mm needles
Gauge 19sts and 23 rows = 10cm/4"

RS - right side row
K- Knit
P - Purl


PATTERN

Back
With 4mm cast on 85(91,99) sts. *Work in K1,P1 rib for 2in.(5cm)
Every alternate row start with P1,k1.
Ending with a WS row*
Change to st-st (knit a row, purl a row) and work until piece measures 151/2in(39.5cm) from beg ending with a WS row.
Shape Armholes
Bind off 5(6,8) sts at the beg of next 2 rows 75(79,83) sts
Continue working in st-st and at the same time dec 1 st at armhole edge , every RS row 5(6,7) times.
Work even until armhole measures 71/2(8,81/2)in. (19 (20.5,21.5)cm)
Shape Shoulders
At each of next row end bind off 6(6,6) sts.
Work 1 row even. Bind off remaining sts.

Front
With 4 mm needles cast on 85(91,99)sts.
Work as for back from * to *.

Left front
Next Row (RS): K42(45,50)
Slip the rem 43(46,51) sts onto a st holder
Next Row(WS): Purl
Next Row: K across, dec 1st at end of row (neck edge)
Dec 1 st at end of every 4th row 3(7,7) times, then at end of every 6th row 16(12,14) times, and at the same time when work measures 151/2in(39.5cm) work armhole shaping as for Back.
Work even until armhole measures 71/2(8,81/2)in.(19(20.5,21.5)cm) ending with a WS row.
Cast off.
Right Front.
Work as for Left front reversing all shaping.

Finishing
Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband
With 4mm needles beginning at the lower edge of right front, pick up and K94(98,102) sts evenly along Right Front edge, 82(86,94) sts evenly along Back neck edge and 94(98,102)sts evenly down left front edge to the ribbing - 271(282,298)
Work 5 rows in k1,p1 rib.
Cast off.

Armbands
Pick up and K77(81,87) sts evenly along armhole
Work 5 rows in K1 p1 rib.
Cast off.

Sew side and armband seams. Lap Right Front over Left Front and sew together on RS and WS of work.
